Purpose

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform our clients, employees, business partners and the general public how we protect and handle private and sensitive information. At Prismonde, we are committed to protecting your privacy through stringent privacy practices and adherence to the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF. As of 2023, the DPF Program will replace the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Prismonde adheres to the DPF Principles.

Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all data and information collected by Prismonde that allows for identification of an individual (Personal Information (PI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII)), including all personal data received from the EU, UK, and Switzerland. The Personal Information may include but is not limited to names, email addresses, date of birth, social security number, mailing and/or business addresses, telephone and fax numbers and employee identification information.

The following sections of this Privacy Policy comply with the seven Principles and sixteen Supplemental Principles of the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF where applicable.

Notice

This Privacy Policy applies to all Personal Information collected by Prismonde. Prismonde collects, handles and processes your Personal Information only for business purposes with you and/or your company. If your Personal Information is collected and used, Prismonde will notify you, usually at the time of collection. Prismonde may disclose your Personal Information to comply with lawful requests from public authorities.

Prismonde does not sell or rent your Personal Information. The types of third parties that may be used by Prismonde for legitimate business purposes include:

  • Vendors that assist with payroll, benefits and HR support
  • Vendors providing software as a service for communications and sales tracking
  • Credit card companies managing credit card information
  • Travel expense vendors managing employee travel expense
  • Vendors providing project support or project management
  • Vendors providing analytics services

Prismonde implements technical, operational, and administrative measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, or alteration.

Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation

Prismonde only collects and retains Personal Information relevant to its purpose and will take steps to ensure its accuracy. Longer processing may occur for legitimate purposes such as scientific or historical research.

Access

Individuals have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their Personal Information used by Prismonde. Exceptions apply based on privacy risks or rights of others.
